Job Description:

As a Community Guide, you will directly drive Zippy’s success with community partnerships. For context, Zippy forms partnerships with manufactured housing communities. These communities lease land to manufactured homeowners who in turn own their home. The process is similar to owning a condo, where the homeowner owns the condo (paying insurance + taxes) but also pays for the HOA.

You will play a key role in building and sustaining community relationships. Once Zippy’s outbound team has onboarded a community, you will train and constantly communicate with the community managers to help Zippy fund loans within their community.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, engaging with a wide range of people that help facilitate homeownership within communities, from community managers to salespeople to corporate employees
  • Train users to take full advantage of the product and sell community managers on the benefits of Zippy as a platform and as a service
  • Visit communities occasionally to establish trust and two-way communication
  • Update Zippy’s Revenue team on progress within communities and competition from other lenders – help us win business!
  • Work closely with Zippy Guides (licensed MLOs) team to support the loan process by owning communication with communities (ex: uploading documents, signing agreements, community questions)
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on evolving the product to better meet customer needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience as an account executive or similarly client service or inside sales roles
  • 1+ years of experience or familiarity with home or consumer loans
  • Sales-oriented and customer success mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with constant change
  • Comfort engaging with a diverse group of people and patience with our sometimes technology unsavvy customers
  • Experience bridging different teams within companies, who often have conflicting perspectives
  • High level of integrity
  • Proactive and self-motivated to solve problems, and comfortable with a high degree of responsibility in ambiguous situations

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:
