POSITION PURPOSE
The Inside Sales Representative will proactively interact with clients, prospects and customer service maintaining successful customer relations and optimizing B2B relationships for the procurement team
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make outbound phone calls to potential new customers promoting Sanimax and our services, including leads generated by internal and external sources
- Strategically utilize tools and market data such as trade shows, advertisements, promotional concepts, pricing strategies and special promotions to meet department objectives
- Assist with customer issues and account retention
- Act as backup for the Procurement Administator role
- Provide analytical support and expertise to the Procurement Representatives
- Support Key Account Managers and current customers
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Comfortable cold calling
- Capability to manage time effectively and set priorities
- Customer Focused
- Creative Innovative and outgoing
- Able to understand the needs and stresses of the restaurant and food industry
- Self-starter and ability to work independently
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years in a similar position such as telemarketing or market research or BA in Business, Marketing or related field
- Experience in restaurant and food industry
- MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PPT)
- Market Researching techniques
- Telemarketing techniques
- Business Development concepts and approaches
WORK CONDITIONS
- 5% Travel: Limited outside travel expected for proper onboarding, as well as participation in business venture, meetings and tradeshows
