Join us as our new Industry Sales Manager
In this role, you will lead, direct and manage a group of Account Managers to ensure business strategies and sales targets are met. This position will be heavily involved in coaching activities around daily business operations, and ensuring negotiations are managed consistently across the team. As a member of the bioenergy management team, you'll establish strong relationships with key members of the Marketing, Technical Service, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment on resources and sales budgets.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:
  • Instilling a high level of customer ownership and industry focus
  • Ensure preparation of and challenge of the Annual Budget
  • Collect relevant input on industry strategies and ensure content is directing the formulation of account plans, and feedback to Global Marketing
  • Executing collaboration/partnership agreements for new business development with regional partners/customers
  • Ensure Novozymes participation in relevant industry associations
  • Boost customer centricity and relationships with industry executives
  • Implement training and skill development plans

To succeed you must hold:
  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree (Sales/ Marketing and/or Technical)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant job experience, preferably in chemical or biochemical sciences
  • Account management skills, demonstrated sales and people management skills
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, able to coach interpersonal skill development
  • Travel is required.

This job will be located in Franklinton, NC or Midwest, USA.
