Raytheon Missiles and Defense is seeking an Industrial Security Specialist who will be supporting the Classified and Sensitive Materials Management (CSMM) office as part of the Industrial Security team. The select person will work in accordance with the requirements set forth in company policy, CSMM work instructions, NISPOM, DoD Directives/Instructions, Executive Orders, ITAR and EAR. This position is onsite in Tucson, Arizona.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain control accountability of classified documents/media
  • Populate Access Commander with required information to ensure strict accountability/disposition of classified material
  • Inspect packages for tamper, receipt, and dispatch of classified material via approved methods to include packing and shipping, and processing Global Security Services Request System (GSSRS) requests

You’re highly skilled in:

  • Some theoretical knowledge of the NISP, NISPOM, DoD directives, policies, regulations, executive orders, and CFRs.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent teamwork and communication with government customers and employees at all levels
  • Capable of working with a limited level of supervision and guidance

You’re a great match with:

  • In depth working knowledge of classified document control processes to include control and accountability of classified material, Access Commander software, classification management.
  • Knowledge of destruction requirements for classified material
  • Basic understanding of the following: Classified Visitor Control systems and NATO requirements for documents and media
  • Data management experience
  • Knowledge of classification marking requirements and caveats such as NATO, FGI, RD, CNWDI, etc.

Security Clearance:

U.S. citizenship is required. An active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance - a current investigation is defined as an investigation not older than 6 years or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation.

Education:

A University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.

Desired Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study is preferred.
