Our
Clean Harbors-Synergy plant in
Kingsland, GA is currently seeking a
Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. The
Maintenance Mechanic will primarily focus on rotating equipment maintenance, laser alignment, pipe fitting, mechanical troubleshooting and rebuilding of pumps.
Pay Rate: $26+ DOE
Pay Rate: $26+ DOE
Schedule: Mon-Fri- 7:00am-3:30 pm; OT as needed/Saturdays as needed

Responsibilities for Internal Candidates |
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Industrial maintenance repairs on plant/refinery equipment;
- Perform maintenance activities including, but not limited to: rotating equipment maintenance; pump rebuilds, pipe fitting, preventative maintenance, laser alignment, pump installation, vacuum pump maintenance (dry vac and liquid ring) and vibration analysis;
- Work with outside vendors as needed;
- Performs other duties and task as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors Business.
Qualifications for Internal Candidates |
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
- 3+ years mechanical aptitude required;
- Previous experience working in an oil refinery, chemical plant, or other manufacturing plant like environment would be a plus;
- Mechanical certifications a plus;
- Knowledge of cutting and welding a plus;
- Project Management a plus.
