This new learning and development summer internship is geared specifically towards iJAG students completing their junior year. It will allow you the ability to get a head start on your career after high school and specifically at Principal.

As an iJAG Associate at Principal, you'll have the opportunity to learn and develop as you begin your career! This position will focus on Principal business sense, building your resume, refining your interview skills, and hearing from speakers and program leads from across the company to contribute to continued learning!

Who You Are:
  • Current participant of the iJAG program and at least 16 years of age required.
  • This specific job program targets “rising seniors” in high school, students looking to graduate in 2024.
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities in school or within the community preferred.
  • Ability to learn and understand insurance and financial products.
  • Great teammate and able to work well with others.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are preferred.
  • Ability to learn Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software packages.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $15 - $15 / hour Additional Information:

This role will be based out of our Corporate Headquarters located in Des Moines, IA and will require you to work on-site.
