Abbott House has a great opportunity to join our team as a Human Resources Associate

In this role, the HR Associate will be responsible for interacting with candidates applying for employment with the agency.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible in handling all needed background clearances forms. These clearances include but are not limited to driving history, personal reference checks, sex offender registry, Medicaid Fraud.
• The HR Associate will submit all information for processing. Weekly, the HR Associate will send a report to each department regarding the pending status of the applicants.
• In addition, will be assigned to other responsibilities which may include but are not limited to E-Verify, DMV license checks, monitoring and sending annual performance appraisals to management for completion, and assisting with the HR budget. In addition, the Associate will handle routine clerical duties such as filing, faxing, scanning, updating spreadsheets and work closely with the Talent Acquisition Administrator and other members of the HR team.

Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially with Word and Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize
• Able to juggle multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Must be COVID 19 vaccinated

Educational Requirements:

High School or GED Diploma and a minimum of two years of office experience is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
