Job Overview

Dietzler Companies is looking for a Human Resources/Executive Assistant to support the Human Resources Director and Executive Team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and attention to details. The role will have about 85% responsibilities in Human Resources along with supporting the Executive Team. This position is based in Denver, CO and will report to the Director of Human Resources.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Provides recruitment support for our hourly field roles including reviewing applications, phone screening candidates, scheduling with hiring manager, preparing offer letters for qualified candidates
  • Administers pre-employment process for offered candidates
  • Schedules new hires for first day of employment, assures new hire paperwork is sent to candidate and completed prior to first day
  • Maintains employee records in HRIS system
  • Assists in benefits administration for new hires, annual enrollment, life event changes and terminations
  • Prepares weekly Health Saving Account and 401K contribution files
  • Maintains company authorized driver list; performs motor vehicle record check as needed by insurance company
  • Administers new hire surveys, 90 day and Annual Performance reviews
  • Provides support for employee recognition

Executive Assistant

  • Provides administrative support to executive team in Denver office
  • Assists with document preparation, including internal/external communication, meeting materials and presentations
  • Partners with plant administrator to ensure timely submission of regulatory documentation
  • Ensures phone directories are up to date, orders IT needs for offices
  • Schedules meetings for executive team, including travel to other offices
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 yrs as C-Suite Level Executive Assistant, preferable for a family-owned business
  • BA/BS degree in human resources/business administration/ organization development or other related concentration preferred
  • Strong competency with MS Office 365 and similar applications
  • Organizational and time management skills with ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate to an executive audience with superior professionalism
  • Self-sufficient, ability to prioritize work with little direction and an aptitude in problem-solving
  • Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential and privileged information
  • Ability to anticipate and adapt to various work styles

Pay

  • $40-$45/hr DOE
