Your Role

The Human Resources Generalist provides a broad range of HR support and consulting services to multiple locations and departments within the region. You will be the primary Human Resources contact and advisor to managers and employees. You will partner with HR peers, HR "Shared Service Center" and "Centers of Excellence" in the execution of field and regional HR programs, and nationwide HR team projects, and to seek and provide solutions that support and increase the operating goals of the business. You will report to the Local HR Manager.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize development programs
  • Provide support to employees on several HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Guide communication between associates and Corp related to compensation and benefits
  • Promote HR programs to create an organized and conflict-free workplace by following compliance laws and corporate policies
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying for new perks and benefits, and organizing team-building activities
  • Mitigate risks and ensure legal compliance contributing to the long-term financial success of the company

Your Skills and Experiences

  • 2 or more years of experience as an HR Generalist
  • Understanding of general human resources procedures
  • You will need experience in Kronos, HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft; Ultipro) and ATS systems
  • BS/BA in Business administration or relevant field is beneficial
