The Human Resources Assistant will provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Department. This will involve assisting in the recruitment and on-boarding process, filing, recordkeeping, HRIS upkeep and maintenance, mandatory trainings, employee off-boarding, tracking, etc. Assist in maintaining all paper and electronic personnel files.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Process employee changes with a high-level of attention to detail, timeliness and accuracy.
  • Prepare for new hire orientation for Chapa-De employees, contractors, students and non-employees. Maintain orientation supplies. Coordinate orientation schedule, checklist, presentations and paperwork for facilitators and employees.
  • Communicate training schedules, expectations and pertinent information for new hires, current employees, facilitators, and respective managers for all HR Training.
  • Maintain and continually update personnel files and HRIS to meet organizational, laws/regulations, AAAHC and funding requirements.
  • Provide assistance and support during audits, program reviews, surveys and system appraisal as required.

Experience and Skills:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Applied knowledge using tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite such as Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word and Excel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • AA degree with 2 years of Human Resources or administrative experience.
  • One year experience using HRIS.
  • Recruitment & health care industry experience.
  • Experience with UKG Ready or similar HRIS preferred.
