Job Description Summary:
Reporting to the HR Director Training and Organizational Development the Learning and Development Manager, Learning Technologies is responsible for creating innovative and high-impact training solutions ensuring alignment with FCS strategic direction. The ideal candidate will effectively define, develop, deliver, and evaluate solutions that address technical learning needs and performance gaps throughout the organization. This role will help support the goals of all learning programs, ranging from onboarding and career development to process and jobsite-related processes. In addition, this role will develop and align curriculum and deployment plans with overall business strategies. The Learning & Development Manager, Learning Technologies must be passionate about enhancing business functions through learning and continuous improvement. Success in this position requires the ability to think strategically and perform in a fast-moving, ever-evolving technical learning culture.
Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures
Position Qualifications/Requirements
Education:
  • BA or BS degree in a relevant field such as Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, or similar field related discipline.
Certifications/Licenses:
  • Project Management, Instructional Design certificate preferred.
  • Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.
Previous Experience:
  • 10+ years of Learning and Development, Instructional Design and LMS Administration experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • 5 years of Project Management experience with experience in scoping, leading, and delivering complex projects. The right candidate will have a track record of project management from conception and design through implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement.
  • Instructional design, adult learning theory, change management, consulting, and process improvement skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills that convey complex ideas in a simplified manner.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence others while working in a cross functional environment. Confidence in dealing with senior level staff and ability to communicate in a crisp, concise, professional manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and highly ambiguous environment with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
  • Experience and skills in building scrappy, scalable solutions that have quantifiable impact.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in time sensitive matters and organized to manage and track multiple projects simultaneously - grace under pressure and the ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice.

Ability to build an engaging culture of quality, performance effectiveness and operational excellence through best practices, strong business and political acumen, collaboration and partnerships, as well as a positive employee, physician and community relations.
  • Self-Management: Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development. Self-motivated and self-starter with ability work independently with limited supervision. Ability to work remotely effectively as required.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites.
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Effectively lead and facilitate group discussions, coach, mentor, motivate, and engage others to align to a common goal. Ability to effectively lead projects from inception through implementation and assessment.
  • Human Resources Management: Effectively hire, coach and support staff develop, as applicable, as well as manage resources, performance and employee relations, and supervise within established policies, procedures and legislation.
  • Computer Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
  • Experience working with Workday or similar LMS required.
  • Experience in Articulate or similar instructional design/e-learning software required.
Travel:
  • 25%
Standard Core Workdays/Hours:
  • Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
