Kalahari Resorts and Conventions delivers a beyond-expectations waterpark resort and conference experience all under one roof. We are inviting you to apply for our Housing Manager position. In this position, you'll be responsible for managing the Kalahari Resorts' housing facilities in their entirety, to keep up to 400 residents safe and the property in the best possible condition.

You'll achieve your goals by inspecting rooms when vacant for any repairs, process maintenance requests, update tenants on work orders, managing rent collection, keep order while administering policy, handle resident complaints and evictions, make sure nightly lock out procedures are being followed, and the like.

Building strong relationships with residents, human resources, security, maintenance, and finance will be important.

You'll often be the first and most important face to a group on international students. You'll hold effective orientations, and proper safety training to international staff upon arrival. Ability to be sympathetic and empathetic to a diverse culture of residents.

Salary: $40,000-$50,000 per year.

We do require that you have a background and qualities consisting of:

• A pleasant, good-natured, and cooperative attitude
• Proficient in Excel
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other basic office procedures
• Detail oriented and thorough in completing work tasks
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
• Make independent decisions while maintaining strong ethical standards consistent with company policy, rules and the ability to maintain confidential information
• Must be able to work well in an unsupervised setting
• Must maintain composure and objectivity while under pressure.
• Organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Must be able to maintain a high-level of confidentiality for the best interests of the residents
• Must research and have knowledge of community resources that would be available to residence
• Maintain general first aid, and CPR certification
• Bi-lingual preferred
