Housekeeper/Room Attendant Job at Microtel Inn Matthews
Looking for a friendly, part-time housekeeper.
Job Summary:
You will be working in guest rooms that are vacant and rooms that are occupied. This position involves standing on your feet for extended periods of time, walking, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, and lifting. This is a very physically active position and you must be able to complete all your rooms in the given time frame.

Qualifications:
- Hotel experience is not necessary but is a plus
- Must be flexible and can be available to work 5 to 6 days per week and sometimes 7 days depending on the business
- Must work weekends, no exceptions
- Must be organized
- Must be able to multitask
- Must be efficient
- Must be dependable and on time
- Must have reliable transportation and child care
- You must be trustworthy
Schedule:
- Typical work hours are 10am to 4pm, but these times are not set and can vary depending on how busy we are.
- There are no set days and you may be called off if we are not busy.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Pulling dirty linen and loading the washers
- Wiping down all surfaces
- Cleaning the bathroom
- Making beds
- Vacuuming
- Taking out trash
