Docstar Medical Partners is looking for a Locum Tenens Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in nags Head, NC!
Coverage needed as soon as credentialed
current – April (M-F) 10am-6pm
May – Sept 7 on/ 7 off
**note** Active NC license and NC DEA required (no exceptions)
Details:
- Hospital Medicine experience is required
- 1 year inpatient experience preferred
- Applicants must have a North Carolina DEA.
- Applicants must be certified ACLS
- New providers will need to arrive the day before their first shift for orientation.
Job Highlights:
- 19-bed critical access hospital with only general med-surg beds
- Clinical responsibilities include providing care for admitted patients and the evaluation for admission in the ER
- Average inpatient census: 12-15
- Average number of admissions per day: 5-6
- No ICU
- Provider will need to respond to codes
- Clinical responsibilities include admissions, rounding, inpatient care, and preparing patients for discharge
- EPIC
