Responsibilities
- Follows written instructions for patients care.
- Provide and assists patients with personal care (which may include lifting, positioning, turning, and transferring patients without assistance) to preserve good personal hygiene while maintaining a healthful, safe environment
- Reports changes in patient’s condition and needs
- Establishes and maintains appropriate rapport with the patient and family
- Perform household services such as light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation according to theassignment.
- Accompanied client to and from appointments and assist with scheduling appointments.
- Help clients with scheduling transportation.
- Practices infection control and universal precautions for self and others in patient care activities.
- Documents interactions with patients, caregivers, doctors, and other staff members appropriately, legibly, thoroughly, and in the amount of time allowed.
Skills
- Must have a Current CPR/FA
- Ability to handle the demands of the job.
- .Flexibility to adapt to new and changing situations.
- Demonstrates customer service skills.
- Practical communication skills (verbal and written).
- Patient and compassionate towards people.
- At least one year experience in the last 24 months as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, or home health/hospice agency.
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation and a working phone number.
- Must willing to take pre-employment screenings
- Must be able to provide documentation for e-verify
- Have worked with individuals with cognitive impairments and behavioral issues
- Ability to work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts: days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Type: Temporary
