Xsolla is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Growth Marketing to lead our user acquisition and creative marketing efforts for our mobile solutions, web products and applications, as well as for all businesses and initiatives within Xsolla's holding structure. In this role, you will be responsible for both the production of ads and buying traffic to help ensure our products and experiences achieve maximum visibility and engagement for our multiple business units.

We are looking for a trustworthy, self-driven, motivated and accountable individual to support marketing efforts across the organization in collaboration with internal and external business partners such as Global Marketing, Product Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Creative Production, Data & Analytics, and external agencies.

You will take ownership of campaigns, with direct supervision from both our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Founder to acquire new users and grow our community through integrated and targeted media campaigns.

This role is based at Xsolla Global Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA with flexible schedules available.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement comprehensive growth marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention for our mobile games, applications, and all businesses and initiatives within and supported by Xsolla's holding structure (Includes but is not limited to Story3 and Long Tale Games)
  • Oversee the entire user acquisition funnel, from targeting and segmentation to ad creative production, buying traffic, performance analysis and optimization of our campaigns
  • Collaborate with the product, design, and development teams to create engaging and high-converting ad creatives that resonate with our target audience
  • Manage and optimize advertising budgets across various channels, including social media, search, display, and influencer marketing
  • Analyze and monitor campaign performance using relevant KPIs, providing data-driven insights to guide decision-making and future strategiesInitially, take direct responsibility for user acquisition, and build, hire, train, and lead a team of User Acquisition Managers to drive continued success
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as ad networks, creative agencies, and influencers, to optimize campaign effectiveness
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure continuous growth and innovation within our marketing efforts
  • Report directly to CMO and Founder, providing regular updates on progress and performance

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (Master's degree is preferred)
  • 5-7+ years of proven experience in growth marketing, user acquisition, or a related role, preferably within the mobile gaming or app industry
  • Strong track record of proven and documented success in driving user growth, engagement, and retention through innovative marketing strategies
  • Deep understanding of various acquisition channels, including social media, search, display, and influencer marketing
  • Expertise in ad creative production, optimization, and performance analysis
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong relationships with external partners
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
