Job Description: Hangs live birds in a shackle. Locuted after the cage dumper; is the frst chaindriven
operation.
Job Synopsis: The live hanger position removes a bird from the hanging belt, by grasping a
chrcken first by one leg and then the other leg. Once positioned, breast side away from hanger,
they will hang the bird by both legs into a shackle. Hang rate varies by bird weiglrt. All live
hangers will rotate positions fiom front to back. The hangers will place any DOA's into DOA
barrel at end of conveyor.
180 days wait period from last termination date, 3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before)
This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
