Hand/Selective Soldering – Electronics Job at Novatronix Inc
Novatronix is an electronics manufacturer in the Northwest suburbs, Wood Dale, with an opportunity for experienced Hand Soldering personnel within a production environment. Our Company has experienced significant growth and we have immediate multiple positions for permanent, full time Hand Solderers. We are seeking high energy, experienced individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities include:
* Hand soldering components to printed circuit boards to IPC-A-610 standards.
* Lead-form components for PCB assembly.
* Hand Solder TH and SMT components to PCB to IPC-A-610 standards.
* Using the above soldering skills operating a selective solder machine.
* Ability to repair soldering defects.
* Visually inspect work performed.
* Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
* Documents production totals and any errors.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Ability to follow instructions.
* Ability to read equipment manuals.
* Ability to use small hand tools, read blueprints, assemble detailed parts, communicate effectively in English, read, and understand directions.
* Extensive knowledge of soldering process and techniques.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Minimum of 2 years recent experience soldering in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills:
* Electro-Mechanical Assembly and Test.
* Certified to IPC-A-610
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
