Gynecologic Oncologist Job at Henry Ford Health
Henry Ford Health System, Department of Women’s Health Services, is seeking a board eligible/certified, fellowship trained gynecologic oncologist to help expand the current program treating patients of Henry Ford Health.
The Department offers Women’s Care at 15 suburban medical centers. Henry Ford Women’s Health Services is a leader and innovator in comprehensive care and education in the fields of general obstetrics and gynecology as well as the various subspecialties including gynecologic oncology, uro-gynecology, minimally invasive surgery reproductive endocrinology, maternal-fetal medicine, pediatric/adolescent gynecology and preventive services.
- This is an exciting opportunity to work with colleagues under the auspices of the Henry Ford Cancer Institute, a multidisciplinary approach to diagnostic and therapeutic care, backed by an outstanding Pathology and Radiation Oncology department, State-of-the-art radiation facilities, research and clinical trials opportunities, therefore providing the latest in cancer care.
- Large referral base directed from our 15 suburban medical centers as well as an active out-state referral program
- Coordinated and comprehensive care throughout clinic and hospitals, with weekly Tumor Board discussions.
- Opportunities for research as well as academic appointment at neighboring Wayne State University are available.
- State-of-the art surgical facilities with robotic capability at all facilities
- Mid-level support available
- Candidate would be involved in teaching Gynecologic Oncology fellows, OBGYN residents, as well as medical students.
Qualifications
- Board certified/eligible in Gyn/Oncology
- Completion of an ACGME accredited OB residency program
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Gyn/Onc fellowship program
