Groundskeeper Job at Warner University

Position Summary: The Groundskeeper maintains the exterior grounds of the campus and is primarily responsible for lawn and landscaping maintenance, including care for athletic fields, and appropriate upkeep and basic maintenance and repair of lawn tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Mowing lawns
  • Cultivating and pruning trees and other landscaping areas
  • Maintaining and keeping an inventory of all tools and outdoor power equipment
  • Assistant the maintenance crew in other areas when necessary
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Previous lawn care and/or landscaping experience
  • Previous experience maintaining athletic fields highly preferred
  • Some experience troubleshooting and/or fixing small engines and other lawn care equipment
  • Must have the physical ability to work outside during all seasons
  • Must be able to read and speak English
