Your Contributions to the Crew
- Welcome and assist guests in a professional and courteous manner as customers enter our parking lots/properties
- Answer questions and anticipate their needs
- Sell and communicate our services & goods to customers regarding parking options, ferry schedules, ticket pricing, promotions and other general information regarding their adventure.
- Direct Customers to proper locations, use standardized traffic flow.
- Accept payment for parking, accurately provide change for cash transactions
- Recognizes and arrange accommodations for special needs guests
- Maintain clean and orderly work environment, including parking lot
- Maintaining Star Line standards of appearance and cleanliness
- Participate and apply procedural and safety training
Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Strong math skills, attention to detail, able to count currency and make accurate change
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, pull and lift items up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit for up to 10 hours
- Tolerate outdoor weather conditions
- Strong customer service actively looks for ways to assist customers & coworkers.
- Pass background checks, drug & alcohol testing as mandated by US Coast Guard.
- Available to work peak tourist times including nights, weekends & holidays
- Must be at least 14 years of age
