Modular furniture installers needed to deconstruct, install, and execute space planning activities within office & industrial environments. Installer may work independently or as part of a team assigned to provide office moving and other services to businesses, large corporations and independent customers.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assembly, disassembly, reassembly, and delivery/installation, of high-quality modular office furniture systems.
- Provide a high level of customer service to ensure an excellent customer experience.
- Reviews floor plans and executes space planning.
- Completes furniture assembly/installation as per installation specifications to meet customer specifications.
- Inspects furniture for proper operation according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Installs all types of modular furniture to include placement, leveling, wipe-down, and touch-up of metal and wood furniture.
- May unload or load furniture into trucks.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience
- Must have electrical experience to supply and disconnect power to module furniture
- Must be able to read floor plans
- Installation and delivery experience, furniture assembly and modification skills
- Good communication skills & dedication to excellent customer service
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
