Funeral Attendant Job at Plummer Funeral Home
Seeking to hire licensed funeral attendants to assist with operation of the funeral home. Duties would include working funeral services / visitations, and transporting deceased individuals into the funeral home’s care. Hours are per diem with great opportunity for bonus on call work. Requirements would include ability to lift 75+ pounds, comfortability around the deceased, suit / business attire with a clean appearance; obtaining a funeral attendant license (applicants subject to state of Maine criminal background check). Perfect job for someone who is retired with a flexible schedule or an individual with a full-time job looking to supplement income. Paid on the job training provided. Although per diem, weekday evenings and weekend availability is a significant plus!
Pay: $16/ hour starting pay for services. On call pay equates to nightly $20 stipend for commitment to on call and $80 bonus per call.
