JOB SUMMARY
Housekeeper
The housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning rooms and common areas, disposing of trash, changing beds, and notifying maintenance of any issues. You should be able to lift 25 pounds and have an eye for cleanliness.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Clean and stock restrooms.
- Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
- Notify managers of necessary repairs.
- Collect and dispose of trash.
- Assist guests when necessary.
- Keep linen room stocked.
- Properly clean upholstered furniture.
- Performs general housekeeping functions.
- Positively promotes Sunspire Hilton Head to prospective clients and employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum two years’ experience with housekeeping
COMPETENCIES - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and EXPERIENCE
- Ability to manage your time efficiently.
- Work well unsupervised.
- Handle basic maintenance and cleaning.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with clients.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to walk up and down stairs during emergency drills or situation
