Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking passionate Fulfillment Specialists who can deliver exceptional service and support to customers over phone, email, chat and text, as well as reviewing and approving physician inquiries for pre-authorization and medical necessity requests based on established pharmacy guidelines and established clinical criteria. This position will enter data, assess requests, and confirm accuracy and follow-up as required.

• Full-time (40 hrs/week)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to work 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM Monday - Friday shift at our Rexburg corporate office
• Customer service experience
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Dependable and punctual
• Full-time employee (40 hrs/week)

Your Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide efficient pharmacy hub services linking prescriptions with the pharmacies best able to fulfill the patient’s specialized needs for the lowest possible price.
• Utilizing established pharmacy/clinical guidelines for decision making.
• Make and receive occasional inbound/outbound calls.
• Generate any necessary or requested data and reports.
• Work within the Operations department and across different departments to obtain required information.
• Maintain a balance of productivity, quality, and timeliness to ensure everything gets accomplished.
• Create and support an environment which fosters teamwork, cooperation, respect, and diversity.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary; remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs.
• Responsible for accurate and timely data entry of prior authorization requests within the prior authorization system to meet all client-specific and/or contract requirements.
• Responsible for receiving prior authorization requests telephonically while utilizing multiple systems to confirm accuracy of the information being provided.
• Applies established pharmacy/clinical guidelines in decision-making.
• Establishes and maintains positive communication and professional demeanor with internal and external business partners.
• Ability to analyze, adapt, & create resolutions to problematic situations.
• Represents AscellaHealth in a manner that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for others.
