We are looking for an hands on- enthusiastic, Front Office/Front Desk Supervisor to lead our Outstanding Team. Enjoy beautiful gulf views from our lobby as you lead the best team on the beach.

Position Overview:

Responsible for managing front desk and breakfast operations, maintaining and exceeding brand standards of service. We are looking for a high energy, self starter to exceed expecations and grow in this position.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Directs the Front Desk/ Guest Service Agents and Breakfast staff, by coaching, counseling, providing guidance of Hilton brand standards and trains staff daily on them.
  • Establish and exceeds brand standards and procedures for work for the Front Office and Breakfast. Plans work schedules and daily assignments to ensure adequate service, according to labor standards and occupancy.
  • Interview, hire, train, resolve problems, provide open communication and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate
  • Works and hosts meetings with other department heads (Maintenance, Housekeeping, Breakfast) to ensure guest needs and Brand Standards are being met.
  • Maintain company programs and ensure service brand standards are met and exceeded throughout the Front Office and Breakfast teams.
  • Prepare reports and forecasts in order to maximize revenue and enhance guest service and minimize expenses; prepare budgets as needed.
  • Resolve guest concerns/complaints; address root issue.
  • Anticipate guest and employees needs and respond promptly.
  • Work with the Sales team to discuss and implement strategies to improve occupancy levels and revenues
  • Monitor front office systems and technology
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings pertaining to days business.
  • Monitor Bar POS systems and pull reports for the General Manager.
  • Review and respond to daily operational demands as it pertains to the hotel.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all Front Office department policies/service procedures.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of: all hotel features and services, all room types, rates, special package and promotions, daily arrivals / departures / room availability, scheduled in-house group activities.
  • Monitor competition and make adjustments to rates through ONQ R&I as needed.
  • Ablility to assess any IT issues and fix in a timely manner.

Qualifications, Job knowledge, Experience, Skills, Abilities:

  • 4 Year College degree preferred in Hospitality or Business field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in hotel industry, required Guest Services area
  • Prior Hilton Brands experience required
  • ONQ experience required.
  • A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience of motivating and leading a winning team.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent computer skills (including OnQ PMS, required)
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle cash and credit transactions
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflict
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to be a hands-on leader.
