This opening for a Front of House Team Member is to join the team that has brought our fully prepared meal delivery service’s expansion into retail to life. Stocked with freshly prepared menu items from our local commissary, this store location is a neighborhood fridge to solve dinnertime for the community.

What is Feast & Fettle?

Feast & Fettle is a premium, female-founded, fully-prepared meal delivery service. Each week at our East Providence production facility, we are prepare, cook, package, and hand-deliver high-quality meals from our fresh weekly menu to our growing member base across Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Connecticut. In April 2023, we expanded our service by opening local retail stores to make our weekly offerings of prepared meals and grab-and-go items available for walk-in customers.

What does a Team Member at F&F’s Neighborhood Fridge do?

As an associate at our flagship expansion into retail, you’ll represent the Feast & Fettle brand for all in-store customers.

This work includes the responsibility to:

• Create a welcoming and positive environment for customers and team members
• Assist customers with strong working knowledge about our story, meals, products, and brand
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to questions and concerns in a timely and effective manner and going above and beyond for our members
• Manage transactions at checkout using proper cash handling and credit/debit card procedures
• Merchandise products throughout the sales floor
• Pick and process online orders
• Clean, organize and maintain work areas and sales floor

What does a strong applicant for this position have?

• 2+ years of food retail or customer service experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Punctual and reliable
• Available to work weekends
• Able to work independently and part of a team
• Highly organized and clean
• Desire to contribute positively to your coworkers and to the companyAbility to listen and communicate effectively
• Very strong work ethic and enthusiastic attitudeT
