Job Description: The Food Truck Manager will drive our truck to and from services, supervise, lead and participate in services on the truck, and must be knowledgeable about food safety, sanitation practices, and good hygiene. In addition, the food truck manager needs to be a leader, and a role model to the other staff working under them.
Primary Responsibilities:
Drive our 28 foot step van food truck
Prep the truck for service (heat up food, set up stations, etc)
Prepare and serve food
Follow proper sanitation and hygiene protocols
Greet customers in a friendly manner
Take orders with our Square™ POS system
Unload and clean the truck at the end of service

REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver's license & clean driving record
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager preferred - we will help you get this credential if needed.
- Can-do attitude, enthusiasm, and energy
- Delivery/Driving experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
The Dining Car began in 2011 as one of the first food trucks in Boston. On the streets, and at festivals, beer gardens, private parties and corporate events, we’re known for our tasty and interesting food, high quality, and quick and friendly service. Our catering and events division has produced some of the largest catered food truck events in the country feeding hundreds of thousands of people! Our first retail location opened in Newton Highlands in March 2022, featuring great coffee, baked goods, a selection of the sandwiches and sides we’re known for, and a wide variety of prepared foods from our expansive catering menu.
