Description
University Physicians Association is looking for a full-time, floating
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Position will float between all specialty offices including: Seymour, Sevierville, West Knoxville, Halls, Clinton, and Lenoir City.
Job duties include but are not limited to, assisting physicians with patient care, scheduling, prior authorizations and pre-certs, communicating test results, phlebotomy, and CLIA testing. The position also requires the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with physicians and co-workers.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and organization are critical to the overall success of the candidate. The position would also require the capability to perform the following clerical task if needed, greeting patients, ensure that patients complete necessary forms; maintain patient demographics and insurance information; verify insurance eligibility; collect copays; scheduling appointments; and document scanning. Full time position, salary based on experience level.

Requirements
Must have previous medical experience.
