Job Summary:
A fleet mechanic provides mechanical and technical support for the company transportation fleet. Inspecting and maintaining services for class 8 vehicles, petroleum tank trailers, medium duty specialty vehicles and light duty automotive vehicles. Also utilizes outside contractors to complete repairs as needed.
Skill Requirements:
- Valid CDL Driver’s License- Class A preferred.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications when necessary.
- Knowledge of fuel tanker operations
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues
- Strong organization and collaborative skills
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform repeated bending, standing and reaching
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
