- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and cut list
- Ability to build accurate cabinets based on requirements
- Mastery of all tools needed to build; tape measure, combination square, table saw, portable power miter saw, sliding table saw, radial arm saw, saber saw, portable router, screw pocket machine and pneumatic nailer.
- Mastery of random orbital sander and spray guns
- Complete knowledge about finishing duties and staining of wood
- Must be experienced with staining by hand and with spraying
- Ability to handle strong odors and wear safety mask if needed
- Math skills such as adding, subtracting, and understanding angles
- Basic communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Positive attitude
- Clean and neat appearance
- Ability to contribute their best to producing an exceptional product
- Perform job in cost-effective manner
- Positive attitude toward personal, department, and company goals
- Ability to create stain samples for jobs in a timely, cost-effective manner
- Sanding, filing and sealing of custom casework products
- Color and stain match finish samples
- Cleaning maintaining equipment
- Respect for fellow employees and customers
- Always perform job safely including wearing safety glasses and ask for help with lifting
- Open line of communication
- Team player
- On time and present for work daily
- Take responsibility for getting the work done
- Willing to share in any overtime
- High attention to detail
