Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Finance FP&A Manager for our Columbus, Ohio location.

This position reports to: Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

Responsibilities

• Serve as a business advisor and partner to the Business Owners and Functional Leadership Teams by the support of strategy development, budget, financial and capital planning and forecasting processes, current state and “what if” financial modeling, performance management, analytics, and support of M&A.
• Support the enterprise strategy development process, including planning and execution of a 5-year forward extrapolation of macro and micro trends and future scenarios development,
• Leverage the Strategic Planning process to understand the changing market conditions, including competitors, suppliers, collective bargaining units, rivals, and potential entrants, disrupters, and substitutes in the marketplace.
• Design, implement and manage an 18-month Rolling Forecast system based on business drivers and operational planning across the enterprise.
• Lead, manage, develop, and train the FP&A team, including completing 90-day, 6 month, and annual reviews for all direct reports.
• ‘Owns’ Kimball Midwest multi-year Financial Business Model. Continuously updates the model and refine its capabilities and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance is required with advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience, including management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of FP&A software and systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Planning, Budgeting and Business Intelligence helpful.
• Strong analytical capabilities, project management and negotiation skills are essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to collaborate with others.
• This position requires the ability to handle confidential information and use discretion while performing job tasks.
