Job Description

Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Manager is the finance lead on corporate and operational planning, forecasting, management reporting & ad hoc analysis, including the near-, mid- and long-term financial health of the Company. In this highly visible role, you will have extensive business interaction (with business, strategy, and finance teams) and collaborate with partners in various geographic locations. As you execute your responsibilities, you will also be empowered to partner across the Finance organization to build relationships, optimize our tools, and seek efficiencies in our processes. The ideal candidate is driven to exceed personal and team goals, is always looking to incrementally improve processes and analyses, and is naturally inclined to anticipate risks.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead short range and long-range planning and forecasting activities for care facilities and home office
  • Initiate ad-hod analysis of key revenue streams, drivers/metrics and overall P&L, and deliver relevant insights to business partners to drive business decisions and influence outcomes
  • Synthesize and communicate the consolidated financial picture and outlook to senior leadership
  • Develop business cases to support investment decisions and measure benefits to understand results across a diverse set of client segments, products and offers
  • Build and enhance financial/non-financial modeling and systems at all financial statement levels
  • Prepare management reporting – analyzing financial results, identifying key trends, assessing current and future business risk and communicating key insights
  • Build modern and intuitive dashboards and KPI scorecards reports for operations on key business drivers
  • Identify areas to improve and automate reports and processes and support new initiatives resulting in greater accuracy and efficiency
  • Build strong business relationships across the company and collaborate with the management team and other company leadership no all financial and operation related topics
  • Lead the development of tools, methodologies and templates necessary to achieve efficiency and scale and lay the foundation for a smooth transition to a BI/CRM tool

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or business
  • 5+ years of related financial/business analysis and planning experience, demonstrating progression into increasingly sophisticated roles
  • Outstanding analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and social skills; shown ability to form relationships and interact with many different audiences and levels of management
  • Experience effectively handling several workstreams/projects concurrently and independently
  • Understanding of finance and accounting principles and concepts
  • Self-motivation, results-focused self-starter that demonstrates initiative and curiosity
  • Experience sourcing data from database applications and working efficiently with large data sets
  • Effective use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications is required; data querying and financial modeling skills strongly preferred
