Job Description


Responsible for assisting in developing real estate financial modeling, strategic planning, budgeting, debt structures, benchmarking, market and risk analysis, support for business decisions, and communication of Monarch’s goals and performance for stakeholders. The Financial Analyst will report to the CEO. This position is an exempt, salaried position.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain the company’s financial modeling, compiling segmented forecasts into an overall model
  • Work directly with leadership to articulate the company’s performance, goals and objectives to stakeholders, including investors
  • Assist with the analysis of potential acquisitions and dispositions
  • Create financial models to analyze the impact of various redevelopment, operational, or financing related strategies; and draw conclusions, make recommendations, and effectively communicate those recommendations to leadership
  • Assist with additional projects and duties as needed and assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, other related field
  • Two (2) to five (5) years working experience in accounting
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and real estate (preferrable in senior living)
  • Corporate modeling and valuation skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills highly preferred
  • PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Financial reporting software experience a plus
