CALLING ALL MASTER TECHNICIANS!

DEL-AIR is hiring for a Field Technical Consultant who can provide on demand technical support to our residential service and replacement team servicing clients’ homes. This role will serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting support in the field. Extensive knowledge and experience in the Home Services industry is required.

Specific Duties & Tasks:

• Responsible for providing remote technical support for:
  • installations, modifications or repairs of air ducts, indoor unit, drain pans, drain lines, and outdoor units.
  • installation and calibration of thermostats, humidistats, solenoids, and timers.
  • evaluating the operation of all equipment upon job completion.
• Responsible for providing remote technical support the Service technician who is:
  • inspecting inoperative indoor or outdoor units to locate causes of trouble.
  • disassembling indoor or outdoor units and replaces or repairs defective parts.
  • performing preventive maintenance on drain cleaning, coil sanitizing, and motor lubrication
• Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of HVAC field experience.
• EPA Universal certification required. NATE certification preferred but will work with the right candidate to obtain.
• Must have excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
• Must have obtained a valid driver’s license for at least 15 months, and able to meet auto guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle.
• Eligible to legally work in the United States.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
