Company Description: Madden Industrial Craftsmen is a premier staffing agency working with a client seeking a Field Sales Representative to sell their CNC products to new and existing clients.
Our client is an established and growing distributor of CNC Machinery and Equipment. The ideal candidate will have a long-term experience as a CNC machinist, with a strong knowledge of CNC machinery and processes. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn the sales process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a career change and interested in moving into sales.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in the manufacturing industry in the Pacific Northwest.
• Provide technical expertise to customers on precision CNC machinery, measurement equipment, and software.
• Conduct on-site visits, product demonstrations, and sales calls to machine shops, manufacturing plants, R&D facilities, labs, aerospace and military suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal technical resources to provide customized solutions to customers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activity, customer information, and market trends.
• Participate in training programs and stay up-to-date with new product developments and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC machinist.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machinery and equipment is required.
• Excellent communication skills with external and internal technical resources and customers is required.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior sales experience not required, but must have a desire to transition to a sales role.
