We are seeking a Field Service Technician in the Baltimore, MD. area to become an integral part of our team! You will ensure the smooth operation of machinery for our customers through repair, training, proper installation and preventative maintenance to increase and enhance the overall consumable sales for the growth of the company. In addition, the service technician will find innovative and exciting ways to increase productivity through machine enhancements and rebuilding of used laminators.

Responsibilities:

• Must be willing to travel. (85% of travel)
• Complete training on all machines through use of on-line, in person and overseas training.
• Assist with testing, R&D, Dis-assembly, Sampling and building improved Service Programs and methods.
• Repair and certification of operational efficiency of laminators, feeders, and trimmers by customer.
• Rebuild and refurbish existing equipment for specific applications to build customer satisfaction.
• Provide Technical Phone, email and text support – 24 hours per day when dictated.
• Conduct training program for new operators.
• Conduct Installation of all machinery represented by Nobelus.
• Understand Film and Laminate products and how to produce the best result. (training will be provided)
• Provide reports to Manager regarding the condition of machines, parts, material, and workspace in view of improving relationship with the customer.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience as a Field Service Technician in the laminating film industry or other similar fields.
• Familiarity with laminating machines, film, and laminate products is a plus, but not required.
• Must have basic electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical knowledge
• Basic knowledge of computer systems
• Bilingual in Mandarin, Korean or Spanish a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements

• It is common that this role will require lifting up to 50 pounds and periodically standing for long periods of time.
