Your Role: AFS Marketing Events Specialist

The Marketing Event Specialist will support the planning and end-to-end management and execution of industry events (including events with industry organizations, associations, awards, and community groups). These events are important, strategic opportunities to demonstrate our commitment to our values and priorities and actively contribute to strengthening the professional and local communities where we work and live. This role reports to the Marketing Operations Lead and works closely with colleagues across Marketing + Communications as well as with leaders across the business.

This individual has proven event execution experience, is highly organized and detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrix environment. They bring a demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and strong project management skills. They have excellent writing and communication skills and creative competencies for event promotion.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Support event planning and execution and related team operations
  • Work with Marketing leads to research, recommend, schedule, plan, and execute events
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of event content and promotions (for digital, social, and internal communications channels) such as (Cvent) event invitations, registration site builds, postcards, and post-event surveys
  • Coordinate other event logistics, as needed, including budgeting
  • Provide on-site support for select events
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics to capture and analyze information to evaluate and optimize the impact of events
  • Submit and process purchase requisition requests, invoices, vendor contracts, sponsorship contracts and vendor requests
  • Manage and maintain association memberships and relationships

  • Work autonomously and independently, yet integrate seamlessly with other areas within Marketing & Communications and the business
  • Manage quick-turn expectations, comfortably navigating multiple processes and systems
  • Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.


Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

California: $73,400-$119,200

Colorado: $73,400-103,000

New York City: $85,000-$119,200

Washington: $78,200-$109,600
