We are looking for applicants that have 10+ years of experience grooming pets in a professional luxury environment. We encourage groomers of less experience but exceptional skill to also apply. Our ideal candidate understands sales and service behavior, how to handle all pets correctly and humanly. Clear communication with bathing and management support is also important.

We offer highly competitive compensation, employer subsidized benefits, paid professional development training and free 1-on-1 Master Grooming training courses. This position is hourly, commissions, and tips- our clientele are exceedingly generous!

Responsibilities

• Applicants must have the ability to groom all breeds of the dogs (Cat experience required).
• Bathing/drying/brushing/clipping or filing of pet’s nails along with either trimming coat to breed standards, owner request or what is necessary for making the dog comfortable.
• Must be able to converse with clients to identify what they want.
• Applicant must be able to get along with a wide array of personalities while being compassionate with our four-legged clients.
• All of our grooming is perform in state-of-the-art sound proof rooms. The rooms feature walk up ramps, advanced grooming tables (both hydraulic and electrically adjustable). Moreover, the rooms are individually air-conditioned, have personal bluetooth sound systems and groomers choice of aeromatics, dimmable studio lighting, and walls of marble and glass.
• You should be able to perform in a steady but fast-paced environment while maintaining our standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• All Groomers will provide their own equipment i.e.: clippers, blades, scissors, brushes, combs, professional grooming apparel, including slip resistant footwear.
• We will provide you with a workstation, advanced equipment, and a fully stocked treasure-trove of high-end consumable supplies.

Compensation

• We offer competitive compensation and benefits.
• Hourly rate is commensurate with your talent/book/and experience with an above average tip scale.
• Combination of hourly plus tips & commission.
