Expeditor (Expo) Job at Backroads Burger & Bar
The kitchen expeditor ensures that every order leaving the kitchen is correct and fresh. Must read all incoming tickets to kitchen and make sure that the order is correct. Then put all orders on a tray and carry it out to the table. Must check with guests to make sure that the order looks great and grabs anything the table might need such as sauces or dips.
Must be at least 16 years of age
Willing to train employees with little to no job experience
Must be able to read tickets to create orders going out to tables
Make sure that every order that leaves kitchen is correct and steaming hot
Strong communication skills
Ability to carry plates of food along with trays from kitchen to tables
Talk to customers after delivering food to ensure correct orders
Discuss with servers any questions that may come up with order
Remembering table numbers
Ability to problem solve
Positive attitude and welcoming personality to all customers
Stock and clean up during or after shifts
Manage all To-Go orders
