We’re seeking an Executive Director to join our growing team! Reliability, trustworthiness and consistency with regard to attendance is extremely important to this job. The ability to regularly and timely attend work, cooperative and politely work and deal with others, and to effectively multi-task and work in a stressful environment are also essential functions to this job

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for total operation of the assisted living in compliance with applicable local, state and federal regulations.
  • Implement established company policy and procedures, and develop and maintain compatible facility policies which are fairly and consistently applied with company, state and federal guidelines.
  • Maintain and complete 2067’s for all residents in the facility.
  • Recruit, orient, and retain competent and staff.
  • Oversee business functions of the facility, insuring proper management of admissions, ancillaries, payables, receivables, payroll and related office or paperwork requirements.
  • Market facility services to appropriate family and community services and identify staff members’ marketing responsibilities.
  • Build an effective team to address and facilitate efficient day to day operating functions of the facility.
  • Maintain and process payroll in a timely and correct manner.
  • Assist in phone management as needed.
  • Assisting residents, family members, visitors and staff with concerns, complaints and generalized issues.
  • Initiate and complete the admission of a resident to the facility.
  • Initiate and maintain ongoing staff development program on a timely basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Certification from the applicable state agency.
  • Knowledge of Assisted Living regulations and standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • General accounting and payroll knowledge.
  • Excellent grasp of principles of budgeting, expense control, and revenue enhancement through marketing, care programs, and management of ancillary services.
