HomeGrown Restaurants is in the search for a new addition to the Culinary team at Whiskey and Oyster! We are a leading Oyster bar in Alexandria, VA area with a well rounded menu with a southern flare and 130+ Whiskeys and Scotches to compliment. Whiskey and Oyster is looking for an individual to compliment and expand the already high end food that we have. We strive for excellent customer service and providing guests with a meal that they tell their family and friends about. We are looking for the right person that truly cares about their food and presentation.

Executive Chef will be responsible for seasonal menu changes, specials, events and caterings and ways to increase sales through the menu side of the restaurant. Chef will be able to take the already established food items and provide a new flare to presentation and plate design.

Responsibilities outside of the menu include-

- Food Costing and pricing and managing purchasing budgets

- Labor budgeting

- Scheduling BOH employees

-Hiring and training of new staff

-Cleanliness standards of HGR policies

Quarterly Bonuses will be given based on the ability to hit goals based on operational and financial goals set by the Director of Operations

We are looking for the right person to take what we are already doing and bring Whiskey and Oyster to the next level!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
