Maggie's on the Promis looking for an EXECUTIVE CHEF

Maggie's On The Prom is an elevated dining experience in Seaside.

Welcoming guest to the hotel since 1995 and to the restaurant since 2004, Maggie's has established itself as a great place both for a casual happy hour cocktail on the patio, and an elegant fireside ocean view dinner.

Emphasizing fresh local ingredients, and proudly offering a from scratch menu, the integrity of our ingredients and methods remain important to our core values and to our customers.

Maggie's On The Prom is in search of a new Executive Chef to continue to shape our food, beverage and service, and catering program.

The best candidate for the job would be a highly motivated, highly passionate, highly creative, highly trained, and highly experienced culinary professional, who wishes bring their talent to Seaside, and begin a new adventure.

Tasks required of the position include (but not limited to)

People Management

- Hiring, training, scheduling, and discipline of all BOH positions

- Assisting with hiring, training, scheduling, and discipline of all FOH positions

Menu Management

- Create and manage menus for the restaurant including special events - semi-annual menu changes at a minimum.

- Create and manage menus for catering.

Product Management

- Responsible for orders and appropriate food/materials costing

- Responsible to manage product from procurement to guest consumption

- Responsible to manage food waste insuring minimal waste and maximum utilization.

Kitchen Management

- Maintain clean and organized kitchen and food storage areas

- Manage order flow and expedite as necessary for smooth service.

- Manage equipment maintenance schedule

Chef Duties

- Fill in as needed in any position in the BOH

- Cook on the line as needed

- Expo as needed

- Customer relations as needed

- Maintain all best food safety practices
