The Position:

As an Event Cook, at the Bradley Estate you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals for a wide variety of events. The Event Cook will be responsible for prepping and executing high-quality meals that meet the unique needs and preferences of each client. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a creative mindset, and excellent attention to detail. Full-time and part-time hours available in a fun and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality meals for events of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to large-scale corporate events
• Coordinate with other staff members to ensure that all elements of the event, including setup, serving, and cleanup, are executed flawlessly
• Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Supervise and train other kitchen staff, as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including proper storage and labeling of all food items
• Ensure that all food waste is minimized and disposed of properly

Requirements:

• Cultivate your culinary skills; learn proper knife skills, baking, etc.
• Take pride in your job – We use ingredients from our own farm, The Farm at Gibbet Hill and many local vendors.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to drive a 14’ to 16’ box trucks a plus!
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 30 lbs
