Are you looking for a fun, flexible summer job? SPIRE Credit Union is seeking several people to promote SPIRE at various events including St. Paul Saints games, parades and/or other community festivals. The events are mid April through end of September and are scheduled ahead of time. This position pays $18.50/hr, includes Saints/SPIRE ‘gear’, as well as parking reimbursement. Must be available evenings and weekends. Training is provided.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Event Assistant you will:

  • Promote SPIRE at various community events by engaging with event attendees, discussing SPIRE products and locations, and giving away promotional materials.
  • Set up, take down, sort and transport promotional materials, maintain and update inventory for events.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing department as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Engaging conversational skills are desired. Work involves personal contact with customers and others inside and outside the organization as a SPIRE Ambassador.

  • Must be able to walk and stand for several hours at a time, lift up to 30 pounds, bend, with the ability to work outside in rain, cold or heat.
  • May wear mascot costume and be able to safely handle the weight of the costume and its confines.
