Evening Dishwasher Job at River Strand Golf and Country Club
This position is at a Golf & Country Club as an evening dishwasher. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to our members and guests. A successful candidate presents and maintains the utmost in professionalism. This position is for the PM Shift and works under the supervision of the Executive Chef / Sous Chefs.
Position Summary
Responsible for assisting in all aspects of F&B cleanliness standards as deemed by the Executive Chef.
Essential Job Functions:
- Delivers and promotes prompt, courteous and friendly service to all members, guest and employees.
- Ensures that all safety, sanitation, and other standards are consistently met.
- Operates dish machine and will be responsible for replacing chemicals, as necessary.
- Put away deliveries, as directed by the Executive Chef/Sous Chef
- Keeps floors free of debris, and mops as necessary.
- Washes and scrubs pots, and places items in designated areas of the kitchen.
- Keeps dishes and glassware organized at all times.
- Removes refuse from the facility, and place in proper dumping receptacles.
- Breaks down cardboard boxes and recycles accordingly.
- Continually works to ensure correct handling procedures to minimized breakage and waste.
- Must be able to operate and clean all kitchen equipment in a safe manner.
- May be asked at times to prep certain food items.
