About the Position: The Equipment Asset Analyst is responsible to manage the machinery fleet inventory to ensure we have optimal utilization of CAT Heavy Equipment and Work Tools across all our territories in our Machinery Sales Department. This role works directly with the Service Departments to ensure that units are returned to available to rent status as quickly as possible. The position will use analytical tools to balance heavy rental fleet model mix and rental rates to maximize the utilization of the fleet. You will need to demonstrate some flexibility as there will be periodic overnight travel required to meet the objectives of this position. Promoting our Company Values and Safety practices is important in this role.

Qualifications and Experience Needed: A Bachelor of Arts in Business or related degree; or comparable related industry experience with a general knowledge of Sales and Equipment knowledge. The candidate will need to have excellent people/communication skills and management experience. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. A valid driver's license is required to operate our equipment. Due to the ongoing interaction with customers and employees, it will be important to demonstrate professional written and verbal communications skills. We utilize Sales Link and Iquote for this role.
