Here at Fort Aquatics, we care about creating fun and exciting environment for our swimmers and team. Our team members change lives every day by helping swimmer reach their full ability. We provide training in a welcoming and encouraging environment to ensure our instructors can give excellent lessons for all swimmers! With continuous training, opportunities for growth, and a supportive team, we create an environment that is inclusive and fun. About Us

Fort Aquatics is an indoor Swim facility that is located in the same building as Fort Gymnastics in Murphy, TX. We are 10 minutes from Plano, 5 minutes from Wylie and Sachse, Texas. Fort Aquatics is affiliated with Fort Gymnastics and Fort Montessori Academy. As a combined group of business, we offer daycare, swim, gym and after school care and summer camps. We have been around children for 12 years and have worked very hard to earn good reputation with parents and staff.

The Ideal Candidate

Instructors at Fort Aquatics must be friendly, warm, energetic, and cheerful. He/she must love to work with little children of all age groups and have a passion to teach. An ideal instructor is a good communicator and one who provides top notch customer service and really cares about the progress a child. The instructor must be comfortable being in a heated pool for a 4 to 5 hour shift. Instructor must help with keeping pool clean and assist with other office duties during non-swim times.

Benefits

Working birthday parties in the weekend - you can earn up to $22/hour.

SCHEDULES AVAILABLE:

Mornings: Tue and Wed 9:30am to 12pm

Evenings: Tue/Wed/Thu 4:15pm to 7:30pm and Sat 9:00 am to 12pm

You need to work at least 4 shifts

Pay – Based on Experience $14 to $18 per hour

Job Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Love to Kids !
• Love the Water!
• Enjoy having fun!
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must have reliable means of transport
• Must be willing to work on weekends and evening
• Cleaning
• Willing to undergo background checks
• CPR and First Aid Certification – a huge plus- but not required.
• Ability to work in and around swimming pools with exposure to chlorinated and chemically treated water.
• Knowledge of methods of rescue, life saving techniques, artificial respiration, and first aid a plus. But not required.
• Must be punctual and consistent to work
• Must be able to work perform office duties during non-swim hours

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
