Entry Level - DC Associate- Level I Selector Job at Pet Supermarket
Location: Sunrise, Florida
Job Summary
The Distribution Center Associate I is responsible for preparing all customer order types (store replenishments and E-Commerce) including but not limited to product selection, staging, internal replenishments, and sorting. Other duties could include receiving, stocking and general housekeeping. All associates are responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by following all safety policies and standards and completing specified safety training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Select product accurately and damage free.
- Select product in an efficient manner while meeting appropriate productivity expectations and standards.
- Ensure product and or tote is properly labeled.
- Follow all distribution center standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Operate a manual pallet jack.
- Operate and use multiple shipping applications to support company E-Commerce platform.
- Ensure work area remains clean and safe while following all safety practices.
- Maintain proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safe lifting techniques.
- Perform other duties that do not involve any material handling equipment (MHE) within the distribution center.
- Assist with physical inventory and other inventory related items.
- Complete all other tasks assigned by managers.
Experience, Education, Certifications
- 6+ months of warehouse or retail experience preferred.
- Able to work > 8 hours.

- Well organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Results oriented with an ability to accomplish goals.
- Performs all duties safely.
- Work in a team environment
- Ability to work successfully under the pressure while meeting deadlines.
