Entry Level- Accounting Staff Job at Papaya Clothing
We are looking for an entry-level staff accountant to manage general accounting and financial processes of our company.
You’ll be responsible for daily accounting tasks, including preparing checks, managing invoices and updating expense files. You will also carry out relevant administrative duties (e.g. responding to clients via email and phone calls).
- Maintain and update accounting records and files (QuickBooks)
- Analyze expense reports
- Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger
- Reconcile bank statements
- Conduct month-end and year-end closures
- Prepare documents for audits
- Advise clients on financial issues via email or phone
- Report to the Accounting Manager
Requirements
- Similar experience as a Staff Accountant or relevant role/schooling in accounting
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and QuickBooks
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Confidentiality and integrity
* Not remote, must be available M-F 7:30 AM-4:30 PM*
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
